Square-in-a-Square Block

Join Barbara for this introduction to foundation paper piecing and learn how to make a 5" Square-in-a-Square block. Dating back to the 1890s, this block rose to popularity in the 1930s as a clever way to use scraps and design quilts economically. It's also a wonderful block for showcasing a focal fabric, fussy cut the center, and frame it on point for a striking result. The paper foundation ensures a precise ¼" seam allowance, giving you those crisp, clean points every quilter loves.
