This Little Quilt class will focus on creating mini Log Cabin blocks. With roots in the mid-1800s, the Log Cabin was inspired by pioneer homes, with its center square representing the hearth and the surrounding strips forming the “logs.” You’ll learn how to create precise blocks using the Creative Grids Log Cabin Trim Tool. While your class project will feature 4" blocks, the ruler can also be used to make 6", 8", 10", or 12" blocks.
You’ll also learn how to machine quilt and bind your mini quilt. These small quilts make wonderful gifts or charming wall hangings, and each class in the series builds skills you’ll use again and again.
