In this two-part technique class, you’ll learn to create the classic Dresden Blade block using a specialty Creative Grids ruler, a design with roots stretching back to the fan patterns of Victorian crazy quilting in the late 1800s. Instructor Barbara will guide you through both hand and machine appliqué methods for securing your blades, giving you the skills and confidence to bring your own vision to life.

Use your finished block as a stunning statement piece for a pillow or wall hanging, or repeat the block in multiples to create something larger, like a quilt or table runner.
