Choosing the right color for a quilt can feel overwhelming. Color can be learned – it’s a matter of training your eye. This two day, hands-on workshop will give you a better understanding of color and how to use it more effectively in your quilts.
Learn to have color confidence, about color families, color relationships, and color usage. We’ll be covering a basic overview of color theory, hands-on class exercises with fabric, visual coloring using photo inspiration and, time permitting, a little bit of storytelling (spies and dyes and more!)
There will be one hour of homework on Saturday night to be prepared for Sunday’s class. No sewing machine needed. Open to all levels of learners.
