A classic block design made easy with foundation paper-piecing. Your blocks will come out the perfect size every time. This design can be enlarged to 6" for lap-size quilts or larger. It would also looks great with Civil War Reproduction fabrics or 30s feedsack fabrics. Fun to make, a good beginner project.
