In the first session, we will start with simple blocks and learn how to properly rotary cut and mark your pieces. Then, you will learn how to do a hand piecing running stitch and how to pin your pieces together to make hand piecing accurate and relaxing. After that, we will go over the proper way to press your piecework and square up your blocks without cutting off your points. We will also cover how to piece half square triangles and quarter square triangles, and how to keep the bias edges under control. 

Session two will cover more advanced techniques such as quick piecing triangles without paper, how to piece with templates, and how to piece entire blocks with flying geese sashing. And, we will go over how to attach borders by hand. You will end up with accurately pieced and squared blocks to start a lap sized quilt.
